Guest guest
Gordon - I live in NYC and saw the towers fall with my own eyes (I was at a very safe distance). I have seen a city depressed. I have seen healing and love between people here this week that is inspiring. Kundalini yoga has always helped me and my friends thru tough times. More importantly, it teaches acceptance and turth.. how it possible, Gordon, that you say "I clearly requested no more posts regarding Sept. 11?" That is, at the least, censorship. I certainly hope I misunderstand you or that you stand alone in such a sentiment. How do others feel? Sincerely, Sat Nam Gail
Guest guest
I am from NYC and am on my way there today. I am prepared to mourn. In fact I really haven't stopped. The healthiest response to this situation, in my mind, is to stay with the softer feelings and to encourage introspection. As you have noticed, that is not what the nation as a whole is doing. As a nation we want retribution but want to stay blind to the causes and to the future repercussions of our anticipated actions. This is the lowest, but predictable, level of mind. It is weak leadership that is the fault. I find parallels between this external drama and the one that plays out for me internally. It is yoga that allows me to see this and to make some sense of this situation. I think that if a person can do their practice and come to a place of clarity around this experience I would want to hear about it. This is a big opportunity for strong meditations. It probably would be misuse to have lists and whatnot appearing on this list. So in short Keep it Yogic! Dharam

Guest guest
I feel that the list is for KY and that there are other forums to continue to discuss this issue. In case you think I am insensitive to what really happened, I was caught in a bombing when I was fourteen years old, and have lived with terrorism. What ended up happening was not a discussion of KY and it's application for the tragedy, but a platform for people to air their views. I for one was extremely tired of it. We all were given nine days to discuss our feelings, and I think if people want to continue they should start a group for that purpose. Guest guest
Dear Siobhan: I agree completely. After reading post after post complaining about our President, and about what treaties we have signed or not signed, it would be nice to get back to just reading about KY instead of politics. I thought I was the only one that felt this way. Thanks.
