Guest guest
Dear Friends, Thank you Dharam Singh and Seva Simram Singh for your insightful comments. (I hope you all read Dharma Singh's thoughtful letter after Gordon's last letter.) 9/11 was the most dramatic of wake up calls. One of most important things that any of us can do now is shift our own consciousness, which will in turn contribute to shifting the collective consciousness. We are so blessed to have KY to help us do so. The fear and anger that Carlos talks about are in the collective consciousness. So we all feel these emotions and wonder why we can't extracate ourselves with even years of meditation. This is because we are all in the mud together. At the same time, we take everyone with us when we make a little progress. That is why the process of enlightenment is so slow yet so powerful and important. The 9/11 events will be the context for our lives for many, many years. The point that Gordon is making is not to try to forget this happened. We will of course reference this event as we take steps to integrate a newly found dimension of reality into our lives. The point is not to make this list into a political discussion group. Political discussion is valid and relevant and there are plenty of groups for that. I just got an email from a yoga friend who wrote -- With all the accumulated wisdom that is coming across my e-mail. I have decided to centrally focus it for all to see rather than passing on more e-mails. Please Bookmark this site and come to it often. It will be changing rapidly. http://inner-net.com/oneworld/ From Doug at OneWorld You can write him with insightful articles and remind us to take a look. Doug's sounds like a good idea. If anyone else has links to other material, lists or sites that look particularily interesting you can let us know. What is urgently needed now is our active participation in creating the actual experience of love in our consciousness. What we want to concentrate on in this list is cultivating the experience of peace into our psyches. The goal of this list is to help us make this contribution to ourselves, each other and the planet.
