Guest guest
OOOOPS, I never wear shorts when I take a cold shower. I love my cold showers so much and take I them all the time. I take them before my yoga practice, not after it. I really don't want to wear shorts... do I have to wear them? I like the cold water best on the top of my head. I let my hair(very long) distribute the water over me to the front and the back keeping my face out. I do the breath of fire when my body is under the water. Periodically I calmly hold my breath and let my face lean back to be submerged. It feels so good... if I could stop breathing and stay like that I would. I also like the water on my legs when I put my feet one at a time on the wall that the shower head is on. (It is a good stretch too) but this is really thigh freezing. That is what I like about it. Am I hurting myself doing the things I love? My cold shower wouldn't be the same with shorts on. Help? Guest guest
Sat Nam Miesha, It's comforting and rather inspiring to read you love cold showers. I am having the hardest time. Even when I dip myself underneath the shower head gradually in lukewarm, then colder water, my skin literally begins to ache and my muscle contract to the point in which washing my hair is a major hassle. Perhaps I should wear shorts... Dana MieshaLarkins wrote: > OOOOPS, I never wear shorts when I take a cold shower. I love my cold showers > so much and take I them all the time. Guest guest
well by the way you describe your shower experience, I can't for one moment, imagine how this could be anything but beneficial. Almost makes me want to try one for myself. may great peace and stillness come your way. s.
