Guest guest
Hello everyone. Just thought I would introduce myself. I started Kundalini yoga three weeks ago. It has given me the urge to quit smoking, and stop worrying. Feel much more relaxed as well. I am trying to read the course, but I must admit that I am reading it like a book, one lesson after an other. I have the intention to then go over it again. I am practising "the flexible spine exercise" on the days I don't have the class. A question... Is it better to practice in the morning after you wakeup, or in the evening before a meal...? Which works better? If I do the morning practice, do I have to have a an empy stomach, or can I drink a cup of green tea and lemon? ( :) my morning pleasure) Hello again and thanks for being an excellent group of people. Nick P.s. what is the difference between the two groups I have posted to Kundaliniyoga KYtraining-owner
Guest guest
Dear Nick, Glad you have joined us. I started Kundalini yoga three weeks ago. It has given me the urge to quit smoking, That is great. Take your will back! and stop worrying. And your spirit! Feel much more relaxed as well. I am trying to read the course, > but I must admit that I am reading it like a book, one lesson after an other. That is a good way to get an overview. They are not necessarily sequential. You can go back and work on the areas that interest you the most. I have the intention to then go over it again. I am practising "the > flexible spine exercise" on the days I don't have the class. That is a good choice. These need to be done everyday. A question... > Is it better to practice in the morning after you wakeup, Morning is a requirement to set yourself for the day. or in the evening > before a meal...? This is great too, even a short meditation will clear your aura and mind from the day. Which works better? Both. If I do the morning practice, do I > have to have a an empy stomach, or can I drink a cup of green tea and lemon? > ( :) my morning pleasure) That could work. Try it. > Hello again and thanks for being an excellent group of people. Thanks for being one of us. And let us know when you take your will back. Guest guest
Dear Gururattan Kaur. i have read your response to Nick's e mail where you write "take your will back" and "let us know when you take your will back" i have thaught for sometime about this and i cannot understand what you mean. i assume that you are referring to the will power involved in quitting smoking but are you saying that during the period where he is trying to overcome his addiction that he has lost his true will? surely not that he must resume smoking? would you please explain? thanks and Sat Nam stephen
