Guest guest
The Indian tradition of "Kundalini" of which many local saints have spoken. They describe a force of pure (virgin) spirituality, which lies dormant within the human being. Christ's law is a living, cosmic and experiential one, and is actuated by the awakening of the spiritual experience within the seeker, not by intellectual study or by following those who themselves have not truly had the experience. > would someone please explain the meaning of kunalini. > > Sat nam > Stephen >
Guest guest
Hi Melanie, Sat kryia is different from Kirtan Kriya. Sat Kryia is done in rock pose, hands claps together(fingers interlocking) with index fingers pointed up, thumbs crossed, arms strecthing up, rotate shoulders forward. Chant Sat from the navel point and solar plexus, pulling the umbilicus all the way in toward the spine. On Nam relax the belly. Sat Nam should be chanted about 8 times per 10 seconds. Start with 3 minutes. This is really great to balance heaven and earth and balance the first 3 chakras. Blessings, Samantha - "Melanie J. Guest guest
Sat Nam, All respects, Gururattan, I was under the impression that Sat Kryia was given to balance the first 3 chakras and if someone's Kundalini rose for a lack of a better word, prematurely. >From a teacher of mine, she would give Sat Kryia to do when someone was having difficulty with thier Kundalini. Guest guest
I just joined this group several weeks ago and I have a question. What do you mean by "difficulty with their kundalini?" Do you mean causing their kundalini to rise or move up their spine? Thank you, Helen
Guest guest
There are kriyas or sets that a person can do to "cool" themselves. Sat Kriya is energizing, tonifying and balancing if a person is just simply buzzed. But if you know that you have raised the sexual energy and it is now "in your face" then you may not want to fan that flame. It's time to meditate more, chant, do "Kriya for Pelvic Balance" ( a personal favorite) or something similar or go for a sweaty run and really master corpse (savasana) pose, the layout. The idea is to get comfortable as much as you can with where you are at now. See her (melanie) original. It's time to chew! Peaces, Dharam Read Melanie's original message "anybody, is there an exercise that one can do that will calm the kundalini symptoms for a while so I can do my school work? I am having trouble staying calm as I have all this joy, energy and it wells up inme and I have been getting not only the sexual arousal which I can do without for now but also my forhead has (burning not painthough)and funny sensations in forehead and head. I am doing lots of deep breathing and stretches even when studying, but right now I have computer work to do and can hardly look at the computer screen, any suggestions please? though I am not totally knew to kundalini herself, I am knew to the kundalini exercises, meditations, etc. much love and light, Sat Nam, Melanie Samantha wrote: > Sat Nam, > > All respects, Gururattan, I was under the impression that Sat Kryia was > given to balance the first 3 chakras and if someone's Kundalini rose for a > lack of a better word, prematurely. >
