Guest guest
Siri Devta Kaur, I just started again last night after not doing yoga for a while. I get "too busy" even though I know that in fact I'd have more energy and less stress if I just did it. Since Sept 11 I have been giving into my news junkie addiction and turning on NPR radio as soon as I wake up. I have to remind myself that nothing so critical it can't wait an hour is likely to have happened. I also have been neglecting my artwork and I find it is a similar thing (like I have to clean my house first, then I have to sharpen every pencil I own, then I think I should get new paint, or with yoga, oh I ate something now I should wait 2 hours) Its easier for me to start small. I tell myself I just have to go for 15 min. Usually once I get started I want to keep going more. Having a video with sets divided into four parts helps. Once I press the play button I'm in it for at least the first set. I hope those ideas are helpful or at least know that you are not alone in trying to get motivated to get back into practice. I just started a prosperity meditation last night that is a 40 day thing. I've started it a number of times and not yet made 40 days. I really want to make it this time. Let's keep up! Guest guest
Hello, I have a question please; I recently started doing beginning kundalini yoga. I'd like some advise on my next step. I have volume I (just the one beginning tape) and there are many series. What tape should I buy next? I have been looking but would appreciate suggestions from you. Guest guest
Dear Siri Devta Kaur, > If I just start yoga just any time in the day will it > be easer to mover it back to the morning than to just > not do any at all. Then do that. Program yourself for success. Do what you can do consistently. That is success. Even if it is 5 minutes. The constant expereince will change the energy from the downward spiral to the expansive spiral. It is challenging to change directions, but even the slightest effort does the trick.
