guestion--Please!!-Where would I get mung

beans? Are they called by any other name? Are they

commonly found at the

local  grocery store(there are no health food

stores here)? Are they fresh or

in a bag or a can? Are there any substitutions? Sorry

I remember looking for then before. I went to many

stores and they had no idea what I was looking for. I

found them at a health food store. so just look for a

local one around you. I hope this helps. There is no

such things and to many questions. :-)

Chinese, Asian or Indian grocery. Health food stores will have them and they'll

also have organic mung beans

Nope

Some progressive grocery stores might have them, particularly if there is a

large Asian population in Southern Georgia

They are raw and dried like other beans

I wouldn't try to substitute. Mung beans have an Ayurvedic capacity to "dry up

excess moisture in the pelvic bowl"
