letting go of old thoughts-REPLY

Dear Stephen

Maybe we should all stop trying to climb. Where are we trying to climb to?.

Is there a place we need to get to to find God? Isn't God all around. I

have travelled to many places in the world, and have found the deepest sense

of spirituality amongst the simplest people. People who couldn't read or

write, had no knowledge of the scriptures. People who needn't understand the

subtle points, as you put it, because they are already free, free from

intellect and reasoning. They have an innocence a joy in everything around

them. These are the people in life who have taught me the greatest lessons.

To let go. To let go of the struggle to reach, to accept. open and

surrender. Whilst there is an aim there is a mind to struggle against. If

God, Spirit, the Goddess whatever you wish to call it is everywere and

everthing is God then aren't we already with Him. Where is there to go to

find him. You have already reached. Only the mind convinces us otherwise.

Whilst we constantly chase we miss what is already within. Pause, stop,

feel He is everywhere. The only journey is the remembering. If we cannot

see every person that stands before us as God how will we ever remember. The

mind and its reasonings, judgements, justifications, its subtlty is the only

thing that prevents us from merging with him.

Many thanks to you for the lesson you have given me. May God bless you

always.

Much love to you

Ejaye

Re: letting go of old thoughts

dear Seri Devta Kaur,

i once read that all religions are different paths up the same mountian with

the objective of all followers to reach the top or to get as high as

possible. in their purist forms, all religions that i know of, ultimately

speak the same truth. wonderful words written by inspired and clean human

beings. sometimes, less spiritually evolved people do not question their

faith and accept blindly whatever they are told, often through fear of the

almighty because of bullying as children. this is ofcourse totally wrong and

very sad. and so the ignorant misinterpret these positive messages and the

truth becomes polluted. i do not suggest that these people are evil or bad,

only that they do not understand the more subtle points. when i find myself

disagreeing with someone who calls themselves holly or religious, yet acts

in

an undignified way i tell myself that this person is atleast trying to climb

the mountain, towards the light. just as you say, it is then possible to

love

them for where they are at this moment.

take care and sat nam

Dear Stephen,

After reading Ejaye's message, I remembered two things:

1 we are never so lost an angel can't find us and

2 I was working with someone, we were doing journey work (shaman) and she

felt lost and was wondering around in a dark cave. When she told me that, I

suggested that perhaps she should stop wondering and see what happened. The

next thing she told me was that Jesus appeared to help her.

Just wanted to share.

Blessings,

Samantha

......to all who having troubles to let it go...I

adapted from my friend fallowed: the woman he care

about very much left him for another man, what could

be worse? I rushed over to comfort him, but find him

in pretty good condition...and his respond was" yeah,

it's over, IT WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED...everything

has a beginning and the end just like our

lifes...another comfort you can get in thinking that

everything happened for the reason. Sometimes we are

upset for not getting"that" job, man, trip etc. But if

you look at it like the Universe makes you available

for something much better to happened...I know people

who got sick and was upset about it, and stayed home,

and....survived the Sept. 11 tragedy....anyway, you

got an idea...it's not easy to do and takes time to

ajust, but it works like a charm...good luck Peace&
