Guest guest
Hi, I have been reading how many of you have received your Spiritual Names. My question is, What significance does this name actually play? Does it represent a type of new birth? When does a person know they should do this? and also, does it make a difference whether one has a spiritual name or not? thank you, michelle
Guest guest
Hi Michelle I guess a spiritual name is just another tool for mindfullness. Another step towards resolve to follow the path, a committment within yourself and a constant reminder that that is what you chosen. For some this is in the form of spiritual name but there are many other ways to take the step towards committment and resolve within oneself without the need of a name. All, I believe, are equally as valid. I guess whatever feels right for each person is right for each person. I received my name whilst meditating on Glastonbury Tor (in England) one Harvest Full Moon many years ago. It just came without asking, just happened. The same thing happened with my daughter, when I was 9 months pregnant and due to have her, her name just came. With my own spirit name It was a catalyst, and felt by adopting it I had in some way put myself into the hands of the Divine Spirit. The Divine had spoken and I had accepted without question my willingness to change. And I changed it completely legally as well. When the time comes you will know and if it doesn't then thats ok too, you may already have your spirit name. Do it because its right for you not because everyone else seems to be doing it. Empty gestures remain empty gestures, feel it from your heart. Much love to you and God Bless you always Love Ejaye ---- Kundaliniyoga Thursday, October 11, 2001 03:42:22 AM kundaliniyoga spiritual name signficance...
