Hello Preeti

I started the brainwave meditation yesterday. I am not able to do 31

minutes, but will do at least 11 minutes. This is still beneficial

but not as good as doing the full 31 minutes. Feeling the space, you

will probably understand this feeling after you have done the

meditation for a bit - this is a mental space not a literal space.

Good luck - I will tell you how I am getting on in 40 days :)

The meditation can be done for 11,15, 22 or 31 minutes.

Dear Preeti, Francis and all Kyogies,

This is great you are both starting the brainwave meditation.

In a crunch do practice a shorter time that day. It will maintain the

vibration. Definitely try not to miss a day because the link with go.

You can also practice the meditation for less time (11, 15, 22 minutes) with

less effects. I started with 11 but after four days I couldn't stop. I

could feel this awesome energy build up and wanted to experience it. This

energy is like an auric energy for me. Like I am surrounded with a solid

protection of dense light which also penetrates through my body. I feel

like I am building a zone around me or entering into another dimention but

still being very present.

Sometimes I continue a few minutes longer to endulge in the experience.

40 days without break is the rule. Of course, if you miss you continue but

you have to start counting again. After 40 consecutive days you experience

a certain impact.

I am going for 90 days now. This meditation has got my attention.

Something shifts each day. I am just being in the experience of what is

happening. It is nonverbal.

> 3..... i dint understand the part about feeling that

You will get this later. First get an experience. For instance you may feel

an energy around and inside you like you have shifted dimensions but are

still there. Instead of thinking this is God, the Zone or whatever, think

of this as your soul, you essence, your expanded pure light being.

In this way you will begin to train yourself to find our identity in your

expanded being and your internal identity. This is what you specifically

requested -- to let go of the idea that your are a limited ego.

The 2 minutes of listening for the mantra before the 3 squeezes is in an

approximate amount of time. Just relax and listen inside for the mantra for

a time and then do the squeezes. You do not have to time this part.

I find that I need to deeply relax and let go after the 31 minutes for about

10 minutes. After that time I am very different, more alive and more at

peace. Definitely do not jump up immediately afterwards. If there is a

time crunch then do the meditation for less time and keep time to relax.

Now is anyone else tempted to practice this meditation?

Dear Gururattan Kaur,

With all the changes I am going through, would this

be a good place to start? and where do I find the

instructions.

I'd like to do this meditation, too, and have a similar question. I've done

it once and had a challenging time coordinating the chanting and navel

pumping. I settled on doing it this way:

Har Hari Hare Wha He Guru

pump pump pump pump pump

Any thoughts?

Start, finish, continue -- this is a great meditation for everyone at this

time.

and where do I find the instructions.

KYTraining lesson 21 on www.kundaliniyoga.org.

For newcomers, I suggest you glance through the kytraining lesssons so you

know what is there. You will be able to go to the lesson that is

appropriate for you at the moment. These do not have to be done in order.

But you do need some basics of KY which are on www.kundaliniyoga.org. Many

of your initial questions are answered there.

Dear Sukmani Kaur,

It can be done either pumping the Har Hare Hari and relaxing on the rest or

pumping on each mantra. Try and see what you like the best.

are the lessons that are on the sight, found in your

books. The reason I ask is with some of the actions

are in your book. I have looked at some of the lessons

online, but did not see pitchers. I feel so lost some

time when every one talks about some of these yoga

terms. It's hard to believe I have been away for so

long. I know as I get back into practice like I was

before I will know the meaning to the words again.

about the cold showers, I had a hard time starting

with them before. this time I have not started them

again. I don't know if it's because I feel bad about

not being able to just jump right in like I did before

or what it is. But your note this morning saying if

your soul just wants you to sit quiet now sit and

listen to what it wants.

Dear Chris,

This is fine. The idea is to stimulated the third chakra and activate the

fire.

I settled on doing it this way:

Dear Chris and All,

Just to add other alternatives.

I use meditations like this to play with the energy in my spine. Feels good

and keeps me conscious and present.
