Hi all,

I have been in a slump for weeks now-lazy & uncommitted. Eating unhealthy

foods like crazy! Im not feeling truly depressed though, I have been

depressed before and I just sleep a lot- IM not sleeping all day, IM not

really sad-sad like crying on the outside-normaI daily tasks are done- kids

to school and extra activities are met, Im a college student too- Im getting

all of this done with no great connected sadness-

Im just not moving spiritually ...I can't seem to make a committed movement

to spirit. My mind feels totally careless with spirit-this is just like a

body surface lack of concern for everything spiritually that needs to be

done. My heart is hurting and I hear my spirit telling me "I am sad .... Do

this for spirit" I know I deeply want to connect but..... It is just a

matter of doing that!

The hours pass by me and I have done nothing---no sadhana-no anything. Mung

beans and rice are in the frig and are waiting to be eaten-Meditation notes

and lessons just waiting to be read and ready for me to begin. But still I am

immovable. yoga and spirit lazy....is there anything worse than this-this is

so terrible. I am totally a slacker. This is the worst it has ever been.

I am so embarrassed at my myself ...this is hard for me to even write ...

maybe even just writing these confessions will help me out -thanks for being

my shoulder to lean on.

Dear Guru Tera Kaur,

We all need to use the energies that are available at specific times.

Sounds like the energies are telling you to

do absolutely NOTHING and enjoy doing nothing. Maybe this is what you are

supposed to do a this time. Spend 2 hours (or whatever time) doing nothing.

Get back to zero point. Mercury in retrograde is a perfect time to do this.

(Oct 2 -22 or right now)

Guru Tera Kaur,

this is one place where a commitment to having at least one ongoing meditation

that you have chosen to do for 40, 90, 120 days or more helps. when you can't

make yourself do anything else, doing that one thing (so you don't have to start

over) will help keep you connected, even if you're not enjoying doing it.

and be patient and love yourself, it's only temporary.

Peace, Love and Light, Sukhmani

Dearest Guru Tera Kaur,

Up until this point, have you been doing a lot of work on yourself????? If

you have, sometimes we need a do nothing period for things to intergrate.

Today and the past few days, I am in the same place you are in. But I have

vowed to

myself to start up on Monday. Will let you know if I do.

Can you connect with why you are sad??? Perhaps you need to grieve.

Do things for you with spirit in mind.

Blessings, Samantha

Dear Samantha,

Since it has been hard to get myself started, I was

wondering if it would be helpful for us to start on a

program together. I just mean the same time frame so

we can in-courage each other. I would like to vow to

start one of the lessons on Sunday for 40 days. I

know we can all do this.
