>My mind feels totally careless with spirit : Thats totaly it hon, your mind

>is doing something your not even aware of, come on! Lets go! you can do

>this, all you have to do is DO IT.

sometimes our mind wants us to get away from ourselves in order to not

discover something that can hurt us, but you gotta be stronger than that, i

know what you mean, there are days in wich i just say " please no" when the

alram clock sounds at freakin 4.30 in the morning, but just remeber that all

the hard work pays off, and it feels soooo good!

all my support...

may you be blessed.

Dear Guru Tera Kaur

<daily tasks are done- kids to school and extra activities are met,

Im a college student too>

If you are doing all of this you are definitely NOT a "total

slacker"!!! School and children are both very demanding. I have been

having a hard time lately too with my yoga/meditation/healthy-eating

practice. I am working many hours right now in a busy kitchen which

has included some chocolate/caffeine indulgence (but I still have

mung beans when I get home!). Also with everything going on in the

world I have been pre-occupied with my addiction to NPR radio news in

the morning. I was feeling awful because I'd started a 40 day mantra

practice and blew that yet AGAIN so I know what you mean about

feeling ashamed & sad. I've decided to hold off on trying to do that

40 day mantra until I am not working quite so much. I hope just

knowing someone else is in the same boat will make you feel a little

better. If just checking the KY e-list is my whole KY practice right

now... well at least I am doing that, staying connected.

Ah, I just read Gururattan's advice that this might just be a good

time to do nothing. THANK YOU Gururattan!

Dear Guru Tera Kaur,

Today is Monday, I did pick a set last night to start a new 40 day journey.

I did start this morning. While it wasn't 2 hrs before sunrise, I did

start.

I would like to share a memory I had this AM. After finishing the set, I

felt really good. A memory can to me about when I came back from Summer

Solistice. Once I start something good for myself, it was a great feeling.

It is soooooo easy to get into not doing for ourself. Our neg. mind will

say "Oh you don't have to do that." And we believe it and think we are

doing ourselves some good. But after a few days, when you try to go back to

the good stuff, that old neg. mind will keep you a prisoner. I believe

that is why Yogi Bhajan, and for many other reasons, says to Keep Up and you

will be kept up.

Blessings, Samantha
