Guest guest
Sat Nam Does anybody know of a special routine that one can continue while experiencing hemorrhoidal bleeding? I was doing the spinal flexibility routine, but my doctor has advised that I not do anything strenuous until the bleeding stops. I've continued with Sa Ta Na Ma meditation, but am craving more. Guest guest
Art, > Does anybody know of a special routine that one can continue while experiencing hemorrhoidal bleeding? A (non-KY) yoga teacher friend of mine suggested this for me: For most, hemorrhoids occur due to a lack of fiber in the diet...which is true for most americans. What was recommended to me was to take Pysllym Seed Husk. It is easier to take it in capsule form. The regular brands that contain it like Metamuscil are processed and are not as effective. I was told to start with one teaspoon a day for a week then go to two teaspoons each day thereafter. When you go to two and your body reacts in uncomfortable ways, go back to one and try two later. Half-Shoulderstand for 30 minutes a day. can be done in 10 minutes at three different times during the day. While in the pose, contract the anal sphincter to express excess blood in the area and to strengthen the blood vessels and muscles. Apart from that, you can get a homeopathic remedy over-the counter or there is a homeopathic cream but I believe that you need a prescription for that from a Homeopath. The only one of my friend's suggestions that I actually tried was the fiber. I take "Ultra-Fiber" tablets that I obtain from the local Walgreen's pharmacy. They have helped greatly, but have not totally eliminated the problem. Maybe the exercises or homeopathic remedies would clear them up completely. Guest guest
Dear Art, You can always do breathing exercises, lots of breath of fire, rootlock mediation found in the lesson on the locks. These are activating. Upper body twists and exercises should also be fine. Sat nam, Gururattan Kaur
