Guest guest
Dear Lynn and All, I just received the following letter from one of our group. I am including it with my response. -- I would like to write to Yogi Bhajan to request a spiritual name but I would feel "tacky" to not offer something in return, i.e. a small donation. Is this acceptable? Or would that be considered poor taste? * This is definitely not poor taste. It is not only acceptable but common practice to offer a gift when you request your spiritual name. There is something special about this offering. It is not in payment for the name. It is not an exchange. It is an acknowledgement of the gift of a spiritual teacher and a connection with the unknown. By the way, I am very grateful to Yogi Bhajan for bringing KY to to us and for you and the others who work so tirelessly in getting this wonderful knowledge out to the world. Sat nam, Lynn Parris * Thank you. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
