Guest guest
>From a neuromuscular perspective, shooting pains on the breast (particularly in the central part and areola) are caused by trigger points in the underlying muscles, the pectoralis major and minor and the serratus anterior. If you are experiencing this during seated meditation, it might be because these muscles are tight and, by sitting up straight (perhaps straighter than you normally do?) , you are stretching these muscles and aggravating the trigger points. If this is happening during meditation, see if your meditation posture is straighter than your normal posture. If it is, then try massaging the muscles underneath with your first and second fingers (it's best to move breast tissue aside as you do this) and apply direct, pinpointed pressure all around. If a certain spot is tender or replicates the shooting pain, you have found the trigger point! Hold pressure for 8 to 12 seconds and monitor whether the sensations change. Do this before you meditate to allow the muscles to relax and lengthen (also do the KY warm up exercises!) and, hopefully, this will help! The ringing in the ears, however, is something your might want to have checked out by your physician. Sat Nam, gwen
Guest guest
Dear Gwen, Different people have given different answers to my problem.Considering yours, the pain does not come during seated meditation. It comes any time when Iam totally unaware.I was also able to pinpoint the exact location. As you have advised I'll try the massage technique and see if there is any improvement. Thanks a lot. Guest guest
Dear Priya, the pain does not come during seated meditation. It comes any time when Iam totally unaware. Hummm. A message from the heart. Pay attention. I was also able to pinpoint the exact > location. As you have advised I'll try the massage > technique and see if there is any improvement. Self love could be the cure. Love your body from your heart when you massage the location sending you the message. BTW, I have had a theory for a long time -- one of the main causes of breast cancer is the lack of self love. ( I am in no way suggesting your pain is related to breast cancer) But women must love their breasts and their bodies. Self love heals every wound. Guest guest
Dear Gururattan, I hope it is not cancer. As I have written to Lynne, there should be some minor problems like a cyst or a benign tumor.Perhaps another indication from Mother K to me.Thanks to the Divine energy.
