Guest guest
Dear Rajiv, You're right. At some stage the forces of Bhakti and Jnana must come into play. Bhakti opens the crown chakra that allows the universal energy in through the 10th gate, while Jnana opens the Heart Center, which is the seat of the Universal Consciousness, where you experience the sense of "I" but also the awakening to the realization that this "I" has always been One and not 2 with the Universal Consciousness. Bhakti is the longing for the Truth, while Jnana is the abiding in the Truth. The governor of the flow of All-Pervasive energy into the body field is the hypothalamus, which is part of the sahasrara (crown chakra). This is also called the Lunar Orb. The location of the sense of "I" is in the synod or pacemaker of the heart 1/8th to the right of the sternum, where we point when we say "I" - This is called the Hrdayam (and is not related to the Anahata chakra). This is also called the Solar Orb. Between the 2 is the para nadi or atma nadi, which lights the mind with the Light of the sense of "I" and as we meditate begins to pulsate with the inward drawing sense of "I." When you have any kind of sensation of energy or practice any yoga or meditation, enquire to whom is the experience. Discard the attention to thoughts, impressions and sensations all together and enquire into the seer, the subject "I" - upon which all that is seen and experienced depends. The seer is unconditioned, uncaused consciousness, like a self-effulgent screen upon which the seemingly distinct three states of consciousness (waking, dreaming, deep sleep) appear. It is called the 4th State or Turya. You are That Consciousness .... always. Therefore, discarding everything, abide as that Truth. With enquiry, this "I" will be discovered to be densely solid and inward drawing. It will be discovered that everything appears in That but that only the "I" is Real. This is something that has to be "heard" by your True "I" which is not different from who you always are now, but seemingly veiled, due to attention to the stream of thoughts and sensations that brings with it the fictitious sense of identity to them. What happens is that as you practice Kundalini Yoga, the centers begin to charge, then the mantras and related meditations vibrate the centers which begin to come into harmony. At the same time the subconscious, which is the mechanism of focused attention to thoughts, which binds them to the identity to the sense of "I" that permeates the body, begins to dissolve, and there arises a sense of inward discrimination between the single "I" which is all-pervasive and the idea that the "I" is related to or has an identity to the thoughts, images and impressions of the mind. This inward drawing sensation brings with it a brightening, a sense of inward clearing intelligence. Suddenly all the Scriptures of all Religions are heard, and it is discovered that they are all teaching the one non-dual Truth, which now resonates throughout the body field from the 2 poles of the Hrdayam and Sahasrara and as incandescent light from the Atma nadi, which fills the body field constantly with pervasive/pervading light, as you abide transfixed in soundless sound. There are some articles and texts in www.kundalini-matashakti.com that may be helpful. Pieter Fri, 02 Nov 2001 18:37:07 -0000 "Rajiv Bakshi" <rbakshi33 Kundalini Questions, please shear some knowledge.. In meditation, just recently form last month I have been getting Kundalini energy moving up my spine and I also feel a lot of energy movement in my head and if the meditation goes good then I get energy in my throat (neck) area. Even when I am not meditating, just read or sitting, I get energy moving up my spine and moving in my head. Could someone PLEASE explain if that is normal occurring state? The reason I am asking is that I don't know too much about Kundaliniyoga, I started meditation for relaxation or inner peace and did not know anything about energy moments. My main Question; Even all the energy built-up and vibrations felt during meditation, I feel no added joy in my life? Could it be that my heart Chakra is so much closed? Even in meditation I feel energy or joy in rest of my body but pain in my heart? Could someone be kind to give some answers, and help me find some joy in life. Guest guest
Dear Samantha and All, This is obviously a more expanded awareness created by the awakening of the Kundalini. Thanks Pieter for sharing again. The important thing is to start where you are at and not hope for or try to create experiences.
