Guest guest
Dear Samantha, > It seems to me that it might be a really good idea to perhaps have someone(s) explain when you Kundalini raises what to expect. Not totally a bad idea, but the problem is in the expectation. Being in expectation will always sabotage your experience of the present. It will even sabotage the happening of the experience. That is what we are trying or allowing to change. Yogi Bhajan teaches us that we should simply learn to be more conscious. This is the gradual awakening of the Kundalini. The more aware we are the more our Kundalini is awakened. He has told us that one day we will notice that we are more awake and that is it. And keep going so we can be more awake. Of course, there are spontaneous awakenings, but we don't specialize in that form. We just practice patiently so that we can become happier and more at peace within ourselves. >I have been told that it can be as gentle as when you finish a set, and you are meditating, a lovely gentle simple smile comes upon your face. Now that is great! Notice when you feel happy. That's it. I am sure others have more to share. This is an infinite topic. I offer one piece. I know I would love to know. I have been told that it can be as gentle as when you finish a set, and you are meditating, a lovely gentle simple smile comes upon your face. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Gururattan Kaur, Thank you for your reply. This is an interesting topic and I look forward to the replys. I think if we could not have expectations it would be helpful. I for one do not. But after reading many e's, there seems to be the going for the gold, i.e. having the kundalini rise and not respecting the process it took to get there; being so goal oriented that you lose the benefits of the process. I may not be expressing myself clearly so forgive me. Doesn't Yogi Bhajan say there are no spontaneous awakenings??? Blessings, Samantha
