spontaneous awakening

What can be described as a spontaneous awakening?

It has almost been one year that i have been practising Kundalini Yoga. I just

love it.

i noticed many changes immediately. Approximately two months ago Iwhile

meditating I had this truly enlightening, awakening experience in which I saw

my divine self, it was like the windows of heaven opened and I became one with

the truth! All false everything was seen for what it was, not reality, not

divine.

My life changed in that moment. I truly walk from moment to moment aware of my

divine presence now and aware of all that is false, not divine. I know this will

never leave me even for one moment. Although appearing as a spontaneous or

sudden awakening perhaps in other lives I worked on what I needed to so that in

this earth experience I might attain my purpose- uniting with my divine self.

I could never have imagined to be able to walk the earth

and be divine at the same time. I needed to be enlightened, awakened, united to

self before i could know this truth. Although in one instant I was changed

forever I believe there was lots of preparation for this. The change was really

not a change in self just an awakening to the divine truth that I always was and

always will be eternally.

How wonderful for you, and what a terrific description.

 

I wouldn't say that your experience was exactly spontaneous. The way I see

it, you have been practicing for a year, all the pieces were in place for

this wonderful awakening to happen.
