Guest guest
Sat Nam I am getting a lot of high pitched ringing noises in my ears, it does not bother me but the sounds don't uplift me on listening to them. Nor do the sounds change if I listen to them. Is this inner sound that has been referred to or a mild hearing problem? Frances
Guest guest
Hi Frances, A sound engineer friend of mine had a pretty debilitating ringing in his ears and it turned out to be Tinnitis. See if the below information fits at all. I think we all have had some ringing in our ears from time to time Sat Nam, Dharam Go to http://www.tinnituscure.tv/tinnitus/index2.htm Tinnitus Sufferers - Welcome to Dr. Brom's T-Gone Homeopathic Tinnitius Remedies Home Page css01fr wrote: > Sat Nam > > I am getting a lot of high pitched ringing noises in my ears, it does > not bother me but the sounds don't uplift me on listening to them. > Nor do the sounds change if I listen to them. Guest guest
speaking of the high pit pitched ringing noises in the ears... hummmm, don't we all hear a high pitched sound or one or more tones when in a very quite place. the sound can be quite deafening and unbearable to me. I used to hate going to very quite places whether inside a quite room or out in nature. at total silence like you would hear out west in the mountains. I was just wondering what anyone thought about this and if you know anything. thank you, Melanie
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Are there any meditations in KY for listening to your own inner sound? Example: sitting in crow pose; sticking your thumbs in your ears and your fingers over your forehead, and listening for one's own inner sounds. Guest guest
Dear Nirmal, > Are there any meditations in KY for listening to your own inner sound? Yes. After every meditation or exercise, turn your hearing inward and listen. Practice is the meditation. The first exercise on page 100 in Transitions to a Heart Centered World. > Example: sitting in crow pose; sticking your thumbs in your ears and your > fingers over your forehead, and listening for one's own inner sounds. You can also put in ear plugs and then it is easier to listen. Sat nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Actually its funny you mentioned ear plugs. I had been having problems a month or so ago with my ears clogging up with water. I had begun using drops for Swimmer's Ear to unclog my ears. But a few times I put the drops in my ear (it was almost always my right ear) I could hear this really loud, high pitched tone/ringing. I can hear it when its quiet around me. But I had to laugh when it happened with the drops. I didn't realize how loud the sound could get. Sheesh! Christa
