Guest guest
Burrdock root and cilantro tinctures are wonderful together to clear the skin. Cilantro allows the Burdock to work better. I have been working on skin and specialize in acne --for 8 years (prior to that I was an environmental scientist) utilizing ayurveda principles and find the above mentions to be more helpful then anything else. Alkalining the skin can help if the skin seems too acidic. Pickled plums is any easy diet remedy. More purifing greens and lots of water. If the skin is hot and sensitive, drinking 2-4 oz of aloe vera juice a day will help clear the digestive track and help to eliminate the heat. Its best to keep the skin cool. Pastes of milk and mint or cilantro will cool the skin. A facial mask of honey can clear acne and help hydrate the skin. There is many ways to treat acne. What I have my clients do is to have the intention of clear, healthy skin and ask for guidance before they go into meditation. Then use and honor their intution and they will be guided. I say that 80% + of what we do for acne is from within and 20% is what we use on our skin. Be careful not to over dry the skin and nourishing it with jojobo oil will balance out the sebacous glands. Wash your face and use essential oils like tea tree, lavender, bergamont to purify and balance the skin. Treat it like its the precious skin of a new born baby and it will heal. Be sure to use a natural oil free moisturizer to protect the skin and not dry it out. Always love, Debbie
