Guest guest
Hi - I'm practicing Iyengar Yoga with my friend who was recently certified to teach Iyengar style. I am interested in the breathing and meditation aspects of Kundalini Yoga, maybe because I have trouble with holding the Iyengar asanas easily enough to concentrate on meditation. I will be trying to take the Kundalini lessons from the website as time permits, and hopefully talking to other people in the group about yoga and life. I am 46 yrs old, female, self-employed, have grown children, a few health problems,open-minded & interested in everything. Find a job, post your resume. http://careers. Guest guest
Welcome Jody, I teach Kundalini and have found that the breath, glandular and spine work create a relaxed body and a relaxed mind. Once you have that then other yoga disciplines will become easier. Loosening and opening the diaphragm and the navel is integral to doing any lasting mind/body work. In addition, the use of breath, focus and mantra makes this an experience that will permeate all aspects of your being.
