light headed w/stress

Sat Nam,

since I started my daily meditations I have felt many positive changes. the

only problem I have encountered is sometimes at work in stressful moments I

feel a little lightheaded. (this is very awkward as I work on a stage in an

orchestra and am afraid of passing out.) This never happens during my daily 4

mile walks or swims etc. Only while sitting at work in tense moments. Any

ideas would be appreciated. I did schedule a Dr. exam, but feel it is not

medical. any breathing tips would be useful as that is what I have been using

to come out of it.

Lightheadedness is sometimes caused by not being present and very shallow

breath.

 

You must learn to stay in your body by feeling the sensations in your body

and by breathing long and deeply. Slow your breath down to 4 or less per

minute then you won't feel so stressed. 4 or less breaths per minute puts

us into a meditative state.

 

Make sure your inhale expands your kidneys in the back of your body.
