Guest guest
Hi, I've just started som KY excercieses at home, but I have for some time now been doing daily meditation, breathing and chakra exercises. And I am very concerned about raising the kundalini to early in my training. That maybe my combination of these practises could prematurely raise the kundalini. As I understand it Kundalini Yoga is very effective but what happens when your kundalini is raised? Could you get hurt? Unbalanced? what is your experience in this field.? Best Regards/ Johan
Guest guest
Are you tuning in with the Adi Mantra? Guest guest
Hi Johan, I started doing KY without a teacher approx. 4 months ago and have experienced some serious challenges such as liver fire, sleepless nights, etc. that I am still trying to work through. My advise, get a teacher that is qualified to teach KY yoga and stick with them. Bringing up the Kundalini is serious business. You job, family and responsibilities could be totally disrupted if you are not prepared properly for this powerful awaking. Sat Nam. Guest guest
Dear Aparna and All, We have set up our sites and the KYTraining lessons so that those without teachers can take advantage of the gift of KY as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Dharam Singh has already explained in depth about the importance of tuning in (just this week.) and how this connects you to the teacher Yogi Bhajan and the lineage of teachers who have practiced this technology. Tuning into universal energy and awakening your own connection in your body is very important. There are many ways to cultivate this attention and awakening. You have already begun this with Reike, so you are very fortunate. Ky and meditation and the Brainwave meditation will just add to your attunement and connection. We have created this discussion group for anyone has any problems with their practice while using the techniques offered by Yogi Bhajan. Please distinguish between people writing about experiences from other kundalini practices or non practices. It is my humble opinion that one of the most dangerous things in this world at this time is NOT to do KY or to have another serious spiritual practice.
