The only limitations I have are those I impose upon myself.

 

 

Aparna,

 

Have you considered the "time of day" that you are trying to meditate? I

have noticed that I get better results when I meditate at between 3:30am and

4:00am. I can't seem to still my mind if I try starting later in the day.

I feel that everyone has that "sweet spot" during the day that they can

tune-in better than any other time of the day. Maybe you should consider

that? :)

 

Also, the longer you keep trying to sit and be still at the same time of

day, the easier it becomes to still the body and the mind. Patience is a

virtue. Don't rush into stillness if your body or mind is running. Take a

look and see why stillness is evading you. It may be something you have

overlooked.

 

No expectations. Just sit and be and breathe. :)
