Regarding contacting a good teacher to start anything - the True Guru

The True Guru resides in the Heart and pervades the mind. Therefore, before

each yoga class we dedicate the practice and request (tune into) the

guidance of the True Guru by joining the palms at the sternum and chant "Ong

Namo Guru Dev Namo" which links us in mind body and spirit to our True Self,

which lights the mind and body with the feeling of "I." This Teacher is the

One that completes everyone. This Teacher is the only One that is Real.

This Teacher is our constant guide, which we can feel pulsating as unstruck

sound in the Heart, as "I, I, I, I,...".

 

For this reason, we start every yoga class by contacting this Guru Dev

(Divine Spirit) in the Heart and Its Creative Force (Ong) in the mind, by

chanting "Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo" The True Guru is the only doer.

Therefore, chant "Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo" and abide as That Truth, which

flashes forth from the Heart.

 

"Keep Him ever in your mind as you sit and walk about. For He is is that

molded your being, the One and Incomprehensibel Lord, Who preserves you here

and herafter, sayeth Nanak"

hi aparna plz dont do without a teacher

hi

iam raju. iam a new person to this world.

what i know is doing anything without a teacher is not complete. so plz

contact a good teacher before taking any step.
