Guest guest
Dear Dawn, Does anyone know if prolonged use of foam earplugs can > cause any long term damage? I have used foam earplugs for years and have not noticed any damage. It is easier to listen to the cosmos when I go to bed ( in addition to blocking out noises.) Guest guest
Another simple remedy for snoring to try would be getting a flat pillow or a donut pillow that cradles the neck but allows for the head to be level with the body, thus the airways are not kinked. And, yes, extra weight does effect snoring. Sat Nam, Diane
Guest guest
My husband has a problem with snoring and since it causes me such trouble he got the opinion of two different surgeons. There are two procedures available , one is the laser one and the other is surgical but neither are always sucessful. Sometimes they have to be repeated. They are also extremely expensive so he hasn't had them done yet. Such procedures are not covered by insurance as they are not considered a threat to health. I've noticed that when he puts on weight the snoring gets much worse - when he loses about 20 lbs and is his correct weight it is not a problem at all. His problem is the uvula at the back of his throat which has become loose with age. Yesterday I bought a produt that inserts in the nose - if it helps I'll let y'all know. Love to all, Avtar. ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Guest guest
Sat Nam, My husband snores bad! I wear ear plugs at night to sleep which helps a lot. I've gotten used to the slight discomfort. This is the only solution we've found so far. Does anyone know if prolonged use of foam earplugs can cause any long term damage?
