Guest guest
day 2 millet diet ouuu ick, one solid day of healthy clean diet and solid yoga practice and this morning I woke up, after dreaming I could not find my coat or my car, with a AWFUL taste in my mouth and a headache. After brushing and cleaning my mouth and standing in the shower (no, not cold, I'll have to work up to that) I feel much better. I figure I am detoxing from my holiday indulgences of caffine, chocolate and sugar. That initial plunge into the cleansing process can be brutal. my plan now is to crawl back into bed (I have that luxery today) with a cup of ginger rea and Gururattan's 'Heart Centered World' open to the 'Healing & Cleansing' section. Any suggestions? Guest guest
When detoxing be sure to avoid acid causing foods and go the extra yard and get some fresh carrot, celery, or any organic juice into you to neutralize those acidic toxins coming out of your tissues (fat included). You'll want to maintain and fairly neutral blood ph. pmcrae wrote: > day 2 millet diet > > ouuu ick, one solid day of healthy clean diet and solid yoga practice and this > morning I woke up, after dreaming I could not find my coat or my car, with a > AWFUL taste in my mouth and a headache. Guest guest
Dear Devinerjit, day 2 millet diet > > ouuu ick, one solid day of healthy clean diet and solid yoga practice and this morning I woke up, after dreaming I could not find my coat or my car, with a AWFUL taste in my mouth and a headache. Once in the ashram I asked a friend, "How do you do it? Stay up late, eat all that bad food -- sugar, etc?" He said, "We are the same. We who indulge feel just as bad as you do after staying up late and eating junk food. The difference is that you will not put up with feeling bad, so you don't do it. We indulge and put up with the painful effects." When some toxic item gets into my system by mistake and I feel bad the next day, I fast and drink water, lemon juice, maple sirup and cayanne pepper until the toxins are washed away. This hasn't happened for a couple of years. I am totally dedicated to feeling good as my utmost priority. Just the way I am. Many blessings for feeling great in 2002.
