Does/Doesn't wearing ones hair up or twisted/knotted without the turban help to achieve the same thing? It seems like I remember reading something like that. Does anyone have more information on this? Sat Nam Julia
Guest guest
I am laughing to myself when I read your question about help with tying a turban. Here I was in Maine by myself, always wondering how to tye a turban. I went to Ladies Camp in Espanola, NM and asked for help from lots of women who have lots of experience tying turbans. I did learn to tye one on. I also learned that there are many ways of doing this and it seems to be unique to the individual. It also seems to be unique to the area of the country the person is from, what is perceived as stylish. As for myself, it first took me 30 minutes to tye a turban on that seemed to be acceptable. Now I am much quicker but sometimes have to do it twice before it looks acceptable. I guess I'm still in the learning stages. I will wait with interest for the directions. Guest guest
I had the same experience, wearing a turban during a Tantric class. Also do not know how to don one. Hope somebody lets us know. Also, I felt so graceful, and confident and dignified. Kartar Kaur > > >
