Guest guest
I once heard an expert on wool speak. (This woman cleaned the treasured carpets that were smuggled out of Iran during the revolution) She said not to use Woolite. Woolite actually coats the fibers with a resin which supposedly protects the fiber but in the end causes soil to adhere to the fiber making it permanently dull. She used Whisk but I think Ivory Snow would be good too. It is true that sheep don't seem to care much about cleanliness but I am guessing most of us would rather not meditate sitting on a sheep skin with "dingleberries" (hard little balls of sheep poop commonly dangling from sheep) stuck to it! soft sitting, Devinderjit
Guest guest
I agree....I would not favor sitting on dingleberries.. bad enough when my black lab pees all over the kitchen floor......also I think a great product for cleaning without harsh chemicals or solvents would be something called "Basic H" which I order from Shaklee , I will look for the address when I get home..... does anyone know where you can buy a sheepskin in the Boston area?
