Guest guest
sat nam, on the given set for maintaining a flexible spine, kundalini yogaspinal.html, can i skip some of the execises to make the set shorter? I usually skip the spinal flex on heels and the last 2 exercises when i dont have enough time (pick me up exercise would be too painfull for my lower back anyway). Also, i would like to add some recorded meditations to my KY session (one of shakti gawain's tape), where should i add it in my set? thanks! The general rule is to do the all the exercise but for a shorter amount of time to get the full experience of the set. If you pick and choose then you are not doing the set. There is no law against picking the excercises you wish to do and just doing them. We often do that as warm ups and then do a set or kryia. It is just that the full sets gives an effect beyond the experience of the individual exercises. Of course you do not want to do exercises that would cause you pain or injury. You can substitute or visualize doing it. In your case do something for the navel center so you can strengthen your lower back. > Also, i would like to add some recorded meditations to my KY session (one of shakti gawain's tape), where should i add it in my set? I don't know what this tape is. Yogi Bhajan says to maintain the purity of the KY to not listen to tapes from other paths during the KY practice. Perhaps you could do it in the afternoon or evening. If not, then at the end after your KY set and meditation. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
