Guest guest
Sat Nam Akkama, Please describe your routine? Also, what is your full birthday? I will say that you must tune in to begin with. Then do warm-ups. Do your full yoga set, layout to integrate, do a meditation and then to finish do one minute breath (20 seconds inhale, 20 seconds suspend, 20 seconds exhale) for 5 - 11 minutes. This last part will allow you feel more fully the effects of your practice. It will allow you to relate to Prana consciously. Stay focused (browpoint or tip of the nose) but relaxed and receptive throughout to all the sensations in your body and aura. Listen to yourself. Heat release is okay. Stay grounded. One thing that is very important is to cultivate a strong and integrated navel point when working with Kundalini Yoga. Without this foundation our fears and insecurities and basically "peripheral" self can run rampant. I remember hearing stories about how Yogiji had everyone doing the set for "abdominal strengthening" for like 6 straight months. This a very vigorous set but he knew that this is what folks needed back in the early seventies. Anytime you raise your feet above your navel can qualify as navel work. Go kundalini yogakyt07.html for info and a good set (Nabhi Kriya) Go easy.
