Guest guest
Hello Dharam singh, Thanks for yor input. MY birthday is March 15th 1973. Everyday I do a 30-35 minutes yoga which basically involves flexible spine set excercises and the Bandhas followed by a few minutes of meditation. During my office hours I often try and reconnect and learn kundalini lessons during lesiure/listen to music. I think I shall do navel strengtheing excercises more from now on. My insecurity, scared feelings often creep up in my mind. I also seem to be worried about the side effects of Kundalini yoga. Please let me know things that you think might be useful to me to help overcome my fear. Thanks very much Akkama --- Dharam Singh <dharam wrote: > > ________ > > Great stuff seeking new owners in Auctions! http://auctions. Guest guest
Sat Nam Akkama, I am gathering that you are not tuning in. Tuning in sets your space. It is the first Kriya. It's the greeting before you can have a deeper conversation with the Self. I commend your efforts. I know of many people who don't do yoga on their own but wait for class. The group experience is important and especially when one's fears and negativity railroad our best intentions. I am sending to you an attachment. The one minute breath I suggest you do at the end is key to bringing all together...mind, body and spirit. It is difficult for many because our minds are reluctant to be in the moment. Control the breath and you control the mind. You can do 15 seconds instead of 20 to start. Archer Pose is very helpful in overcoming fear. It establishes the attitude of courage and royalty. I do it for 3 - 5 minutes with breath of from my right and then my left side. I then do 5 minutes of frog pose (which is serious work), an 11 minute layout and then a powerful Wahe Guru meditation. Take Care, Dharam akkamahadevi avanti wrote: > Hello Dharam singh, > > Thanks for yor input. Guest guest
One thing that seems to be a constant for any person beginning a Kundalini Yoga practice is that each person will have new experiences that they never felt before. Do not be scared. Observe what is happening and ask a teacher, which is just what you're doing. You are becoming open to what can be a life changing experience. Trust that it can happen for you too.
