Guest guest Posted February 1, 2002 Report Share Posted February 1, 2002 If you do leg lifts, such as stretch pose, and your abdominals are not strong enough to support the small of back, you may feel strain in this area. You may need to focus on pressing this area down toward the floor as you lift the legs, if this is not sufficient, then support your lower back by placing the hands palm down under the buttocks where the buttocks meet the upper leg.
