Guest guest
GO PATS! Sat Nam Soniya, The heat you are experiencing is Tapa. Tapa is defined as transformative fire. Heat, is general, is a release of tension. You are simply moving forward through karmas and burning them off. Don't worry, just feel. Don't try to understand too much. Just feel and breathe and smile. Be in your heart. Beginners and old timers feel this. The only difference is experience gives you is a confidence and acceptance of this process. One often feels tired when the old patterns of coping give way to a more connected sense of self. Catching a cold is not unusual. Drink lots of water! Again, this is an opportunity to learn a trust of your deeper self. Do one minute breath for five to eleven minutes a day at the end of your routine (15-20 secs inhale, 15-20 secs suspend breath, 15-20 secs exhale). Feel what comes up, embrace it with your attention and breath. Keep a gentle focus at the tip of your nose. Let go of any tension with this flow. Allow your emotions to release. As Swami Rama says " This focusing of attention follows a systematic path from the most external parts of one’s personality, the body and senses, to the innermost, the mind itself. By treading the path regularly, the way becomes familiar and the mind is calmed and purified. Then the inner light of the Self begins to shine spontaneously—and life becomes a poem and a song." As my first Teacher (a Shoshone Shaman) said "pay attention to the purification" You can also do Kirtan Kriya ( kundalini yogakyt14.html) at this time. There are a number of meditations you can do. Let your space expand That's all for now. Dharam soniyasokhi wrote: > Sat Nam, > > I have started Practising Yoga asanas and Meditation since a 10 days > now..............(Ref.
