Guest guest
Being open to loving relationships is a challenging area for me too. Is there a mantra for attracting a soul mate? Here are a few exercises that I offer them as my Valentine gift to the group: From Ravi Singh's book 'Kundalini Yoga for Strength, Success, & Spirit' pp 51: "Remain (laying) on your back. Lovingly bring your left hand to your lips and kiss the center of the palm. Repeat with the right hand. Continue alternately kissing your palms for as long as you'd like. This exercise stimulates your capacity for self-nurturing and compassion. The center of the palm is a very important Heart Center point. It also relates to the paracardium, the muscle surrounding the heart. Love begins with loving yourself - not in a narcissistic sense, but with the awareness that you are a creation of the Creator, a sovereign soul, beautiful and blessed." And from Nirvair Singh's video 'Weight - Loss with Kundalini Yoga' Whether weight is an issue or not this is a wonderful gentle and self-nurturing yoga for releasing and clearing. After the exercise set he guides meditations. This one is self-nurturing and erases unconscious memories that cause fear. (Paraphrased by me)... Sit in easy pose. Bring the hands up in front of you resting the left hand across the right. Right thumb rests in the left palm. Left thumb crosses the right thumb. Fingers of the right hand curl gently around the left hand. Fingers of the Left hand remain straight. Hold your hands like this against your heart center. Long slow breathing. In the video he says to just listen to the music, it is a voice singing Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru, Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Guru Ram Das Guru, ect. For 11 min. I always feel very peaceful after doing this. Happy Valentines Day, Love, Devinderjit
