Guest guest
Hi to All has been free of charge since its inception. However, , in its constant search to find more ways in which to milk its users, has hit on the idea of charging for its "services" - this in addition to the advertising which is already foisted on us whether we like it or not. You may end up being asked to pay every time you want to access OUR archives, for example, even though the material in them is our material and not 's! Please go to the address listed below and take a few minutes to register your responses - if enough of us protest at this latest scheme or scam, then perhaps they will be forced to think again. http://promo2./sbin/Groups/survey.cgi Thank you for your support, as always. Guest guest
Gordon, Thanks for letting us know about the survey. I've seen the messages from those who went to the survey and learned it had expired. Earlier today (about 11:00 am Pacific Time) when I went to the site I didn't get the "expired" message, so I began taking the survey. However, after half an hour I'd succeeded in ploughing through only four of the survey's 22 pages, and I didn't complete it. Perhaps my connection's slow (56K dialup), but I couldn't spend 2.5 hours waiting for survey screens to load. Nonetheless, I want to take this opportunity to let you know how I appreciate the work you do in keeping the KY list going and on track. I've gotten a lot of encouragement and guidance from the list members as they share their experiences. Wherever the list may be hosted, I'm glad it's available. Guest guest
I did have time to take the survey earlier yesterday and I vetoed their new plans to charge for listers... I also belong to many knitting and spinning groups so being on a fixed income, an empty nester I hope they don't change things. This is one way like-minded people can connect to each other and be able to express themselves. Just goes to show that this culture is money oriented, hope enough people took the survey because I know most of them are not for this. I'm glad I was able to put in my veto! deanna on West Island ~*~ As you reach new plateaux of thought...And old friends drop away, Fear not loneliness.
