Guest guest
Hi I keep waking up in the night - sometimes (most times) because I am awake I go to the toilet. There are days when I wake up - around 2 - 2.30 in the morning, I do not fall asleep after that. I have been trying the method of closing my nostril as appropriate - this seems to be wearing off now. Any suggestions and ideas? I do not take coffee in the night. Guest guest
Not exactly Yoga, but - Drink only negative Magnetized water, eat no sugars before sleep, and tape a super 7 stone to the base of the spine during sleep. Guest guest
It is always good to do bridge pose (upward facing dog) before sleep. You can do 3 - 5 minutes of this. I like to follow by laying on my back for a minute and then bending forward and grabbing toes. This is a good way to release the day and allow a deeper rest. Also, if I have the energy I will do 11 minutes of Sat Kriya paying a little extra attention to my release during the Naams. I always sleep deep after that and I wake up "shiny". Drink less as bedtime approaches. Sweet Dreams, Dharam Sriyani Tanner wrote: > Hi > I keep waking up in the night - sometimes (most times) because I am awake I > go to the toilet. Even though i am pregnant now(i am supposed to sleep more and rest more)...i am having this problem ...but i don't care....because then you can tend to become more worried....lose more sleep(the remainder sleep........)......... Guest guest
Hi, Thought I'd give you a follow up to my waking up sweating thing wondering if it was Kundalini or peri-menopause. I recently joined 3 Kundalini lists on to find out what was going on with me. On the Kundalini list on , someone was offering free Kundalini Reiki transmissions 1, 2 and 3. I took him up on his offer, though I've had Reiki for 12 years and my Kundalini has been raised through Shaktipat also many years ago. I continue my meditation am doing the RaMaDaSa (with arms held at a 90 degree angle since Dec. 14th, also Kundalini Yoga with a local teacher and have participated in a workshop weekend of White Tantra. Two nights ago, the first night after KR1, I was hot all night from the time I got into bed to the time I got out of bed the next morning! I've taken every kind of herb, including progresterone creams and nothing has worked. I'm usually cold getting into bed, and wake up hot after dreaming. Then, last night even though I had on 3 blankets and 2 comforters and leggings, sweatshirt and t-shirt, I didn't wake up sweating once and didn't have to peel off my clothing in the middle of the night! Not until it was time to get up, did I feel a warming sensation all over. I'm still taking the kava kava/melatonin combination, just in case. I'm getting the K Reiki 2 transmission Friday night. This Kundalini Reiki is supposed to even out the symptoms of Kundalini. namaste, Cathy > Dear Cathy, > > > have trouble going back to sleep. Guest guest
I've been quite familiar with Dr. Lee, and have been using the creams/diet/herbs/meditation/ky etc., and nothing worked. After getting initiated with Kundalini Reiki 2 last Friday, and not sleeping all night and also feeling hot all night long, I had a strong feeling/intuition that the heat is/was due to Kundalini. The heat has since stopped (yeah!) and has been due to unresolved anger issues with my partner. The not sleeping is stress related due to our relationship. I had an AhHa moment! Now, I'm still taking 4 capsules of kava kava/with melatonin/testosterone, and added 1 capsule of seratonin and 3 homeopathic tablets, just to be sure to fall asleep and stay asleep. Though I took the same thing the night before and didn't sleep, last night I only woke up briefly, with no heat, and fell back asleep again and woke up without an alarm clock at 6:15 am. All due to the fact that my partner and I have stopped fighting. He moved to a separate bed in the last two weeks, and last night he decided to sleep next to me. You see I've been rubbing all the creams on, taking the wild yam, melatonin, meditation, exercise, ky, etc., and couldn't figure out the WHY of the sleepless nights and heat, UNTIL I thought his name to myself several times Saturday night while lying awake, and all of a sudden I was HOT, and stayed HOT. AhHa...I only get HOT when I'm enthused or upset about something! We've been arguing since October, and the issues have been discussed and come out, and gone around and around. We still continued meditating together and practice KY also. Once I gave up arguing and fighting him, we got close again. Wow, you mean just by changing my attitude I can sleep again! Dreams have been special: last night it was about snakes (kundalini), the night before there were horses riding right up to me, and dolphins swimming by and the beach was right outside the window. Maybe it's something to think about, those of you who are sleepless...to think about any unresolved issues that need to be confronted. That's what KY is all about, (at least to me) raising the Kundalini, channeling the energy and dealing with our stuff. namaste, cathy Try FREE Mail - the world's greatest free email! /
Guest guest
Dear Cathy, Thank you so much for sharing your story. It is all about us, our attitudes and inner conflicts ( or inner peace.) > You see I've been rubbing all the creams on, taking > the wild yam, melatonin, meditation, exercise, ky, > etc., and couldn't figure out the WHY of the sleepless > nights and heat, UNTIL I thought his name to myself > several times Saturday night while lying awake, and > all of a sudden I was HOT, and stayed HOT. Wow, you mean just by changing my attitude I can sleep again! It takes two to fight. One calls off the war, the other one either comes around or leaves. > Maybe it's something to think about, those of you who > are sleepless...to think about any unresolved issues > that need to be confronted. The good news is that we can with the help of KY. Thanks for the inspiration. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
