Guest guest Posted February 22, 2002 Report Share Posted February 22, 2002 http://phototravels.net/japan/photo-gallery/japanese-rock-gardens.html I don't know if this is the case with all of them, or even most...but at one of the rock gardens someone explained to us that there were 19 rocks, but no matter where you stood on the pathway you could only see 18 (there would always be one rock hidden behind another).
