Guest guest
Dear Siri Tapa, >I always like the end with chanting and meditation helping > them fine a connection with their own energy and the divine. This is what we are doing KY for. You might start out after tuning in to turn inside and to establish an initial connection. Then they have something to build on during the whole class. We do much more then just an exercise. This is great. > > I have another question. In the ashtanga style of yoga they do no yoga during a full moon for particular reasons, one being you can get hurt and I don't know what else. The full moon energy is wonderful energy, and I have > never been told not to do Kundalini Yoga during a full moon and I personally do a lot of meditation time during this time so what is the position Yogi Bhajan wants us to follow during the full moon time? He has never told us not to do KY during Full moon. This is a great time to meditate. When the energy is so intense it is a good time to move the energy. I can understand the astanga position, some of those poses are hard on the new moon. Taking the wisdom from that tradition, you might want to avoid real hard exercises, but I have never heard YB mention this. I know there are certain breathing and meditation mantras in your books. Yes, these were given to take advantage of the intense energy at these times. > You know as long as we trust and surrender to the divine, God or whatever you want to call it, we'll be just fine. Today is the Full Moon in US. The best I know is to meditate, be in your body and feel it. Breathe through all energy that you feel in your body and be with it in a loving way. Of course, doing KY helps a lot too to move the energy before and after the tuning into the energy. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
