Hi there - I'm looking for some input on modifications in Sun

Salutation A&B for pregnant clients (2nd & 3rd trimesters in

particular)

I also have a client who has a separation in her abdomen from

pregnancy (years ago.) Any input on how to assist & progress her

safely?

thanks,

kaitlyn

Hi!.....I am an RN and also have birthed four children.....think of a bird in a

nest.....the movements should be gentle....cobra could be modified with a gentle

stretch while lying on the left side..lots of long and deep

breathing....stretches while sitting with lots of arm work....the main thing to

avoid is increase body temperature and also the obvious pressure on the abdomen.

No back lying in the later months. Relaxing is key.....life will soon be

hectic!!!

as for the separated abdomen...she should get advice from her OB before

practicing

such a special time energetically.......creation supreme....incredable

state...enjoy sat nam Anne
