What is the closest city to Espanola and is it possible to stay in motel/hotel and drive to Espanola for solstice since I don't really want to pack my tent from SW Florida or do I have to bring tent and take bus in from the airport? I'm going especially for the White Tantric Yoga and is that a separate cost from solstice? My friends John and Pam if you have info about solstice please let me know. My first time going. John, I know you've told me about going and unfortunely I have forgotten the particulars. And if there's anything I need to know that I'm not aware of and anyone would like to share, please do. Guest guest Posted March 9, 2002 Report Share Posted March 9, 2002 Hi Crystal You can maybe find accommodation in Espanola (the city), or further away in Santa Fe, but I would recommend most strongly that you take your tent. Living on the campsite is part of the experience, and the atmosphere and energy up there have to be felt to be believed - you will lose a lot if you chose to live elsewhere. Also, it is quite a drive up the mountain from Espanola - most folk who drive to Solstice don't seem to leave the camp area again until it is all over. The White Tantric is covered by the fees for the week. Don't forget to come and look up Yoga Technology in the bazaar - we will be there every evening. Sat Nam! I guess the packing the tent is not easy to carry but at the same time finding a close place and driving will not be easy either and I like the sound of wonderful energy of the mountains and solstice.
