Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, In two of my recent classes two different students began crying the moment we began the Kirtan Kriya meditation( Sa Ta Na Ma). This is the first time that this has happened in any of my classes and I am wondering if anyone has had had similar experiences or can advise what brought on this emotional release. With one student tears flowed for the full eleven minutes. Sincerely yours Hari Sant Singh Kindness has no defeat. Caring has no end. And touching people's hearts is the only language God knows. > >"OUR DESTINY IS TO BE HAPPY" > - Yogi Bhajan > >You can UNSUBSCRIBE from this list at the Groups Member Center (My Groups), or send mail to >Kundaliniyoga >NO UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST PLEASE! >WEB SITE: kundalini yoga > >KUNDALINI YOGA ON-LINE TRAINING. My only advise is to let it be totally ok and tell the students that this sometimes happens so that they can be ok with it too. It is not necessary to explain it. We may not even be able to explain it. The deeper levels are often beyond our comprehension. Although sometimes we do get insights to work with. Working at the nonverbal level is also very healilng because we can get in touch with primal energies. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
I've cried in church while singing, many times. The particular message in the song has stirred up emotions; the Ra Ma Da Sa has done the same thing, depending upon what was going on in my mind at the time. Usually grieving or sorrow about a current issue. My guess is that the Kirtan does the same also. The best part is how I feel afterwards, as if a weight was lifted. How wonderful that God used you to help with your student's emotional cleansing! namaste, cathy > Mon, 11 Mar 2002 11:28:51 -0800 (PST) > Gordon Price <harisant > Re: Emotional release > > Sat Nam Everyone, > In two of my recent classes two > different students began crying the moment we began > the Kirtan Kriya meditation( Sa Ta Na Ma).
