Guest guest
Sat Nam, I'm new to KY, but I'm an occupational therapist & used to (it's been several years) work with pt's with frozen shoulder. Frozen shoulder can develop into shoulder hand syndrome - where both the shoulder & hand become painful. The main thing that we did was to recommend 'weightbearing' to the extremity. You could position yourself in a position which would provide weight or deep pressure on the joint - perhaps leaning on a bent elbow on a table then leaning into it to tolerance. Functional activities would include scrubbing the floor or a table or wall - basically anything which puts weight on the joint. You might want to check with a doctor or OT to find out what the newest treatment protocols are. Hope you are feeling better soon. Guest guest
Sat Nam Sharma, I would suggest massage, ortho-bionomy, or some type of body work. The individual structures that have been "glued together" need to become separate again and massage is very beneficial for it. Keep up the movement though. Guest guest
hey there, I don't know if this is of any help. When ever I have any neck or shoulder problems I find the most release with some stretches and yes a deep meditation that has a mantra in it.my students and I experimented on this and by unlocking deep thought patterns from our stressful days during the meditation it releases the frozen areas faster.I don't know what medical issues the person has which is a different story but the Wahe guru meditation for thoughtlessness in the Intermediate meditation manual helps me release a lot of energy stuck in my body sirkhalsa
Guest guest
Sat Nam, As far as I know there is no KY for frozen shoulder which I had for 1 year. Do an internet search for articles on this. The muscles need to be stretched by a therapist when the timing is right, which for me was after 6 months. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
