Guest guest
Dear Mary, Try going to www.kundalini-matashakti.com, then go to the links to the right. Pieter's articles will have the Non-Dual Christ Excerpt. The Non-Dual Christ excerpt is part of the article "The Self Maya and the Heart: The Philosophy of Non-Dualism" There are also articles by Yogi Bhajan, links to spiritual texts, under Sravana ("True Hearing), links to some yoga sets, links to the KRI Teacher's Training Curriculum. The teachings and words of the Saviors, such as Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Rama, the Sikh Gurus and others - all resonate at there core the non-dual experience. When the mind is pure enough the True Self "hears" the words recognizes their meaning and recollects Itself, and a spontaneous awakening to one's inner Truth occurs that brings about a sense of a churning in the nerves. The sense of "I" now associated with the ever changing thoughts, emotions, impressions and sensations withdraws into the heart (hrdayam - the self-illuminating center mentioned in Patanjali's yoga sutras and elsewhere) and the whole body polarizes itself and tunes to the reverberation of the soundless sound of the pulsing of "I as I"in the atma nadi that rises from the heart to the brain (Sahasrara), and the "whole body is filled with light." We think of ourselves as just a body with thoughts and sensations dealing with the situations and events of the world, but the whole body (gross, subtle and causal) is made up of archetypal forces that resonate the True Self, which is felt in the heart like a gravitational force - the pulsing of "I" and pervasive force of light - consciousness. The expanding awareness of identity from thoughts and sensations of the body to the feeling of oneself as knowing or intuitive consciousness, to the sudden link and recognition of the single "I" without any images at all, is the kundalini. Within us is the overriding need to hear and know our Truth, which has given rise to our need to build churches and temples to house the words of the Saviors and Saints, and keep days holy just to hear them on the chance that one day the promised "Hearing" will occur, at which point the words of the Saviors have in them the power to completely and radically effect this awakening with a transforming force that is more powerful than any yoga one might practice. The practice of Kundalini Yoga penetrates deeply into the total purification of the body and mind to the point where there is an etheric electromagnetic stillness. Then the words of the Saviors are easily "heard" and the recollection of "I and my Father are One" awakens - We awaken to the words in the song - "He's the only one who sees, the only one who hears, the only one who speaks and thinks, Me and God, God and Me, Me and God are One." Often one will grow up with the words of one's religion. For example, preachers, priests, evangelists, reverends will repeat the words of Christ in every church setting, and yet the core meaning of the words are not heard or barely heard and the link is not triggered. Sometimes by going to other religions, such as Vedanta of the Hindu Religion, Zen texts and Sutras of the Buddhist religion, shabads of the GuruGranthSahib, one will begin to hear the non-dual message and suddenly there appears the pulsing singularity of the Self in the Heart. All of a sudden one finds that all that has heard and read in the teachings of Christ go through an inner process of True hearing, as though one had an encryption program installed that decoded the words back into the resonance of their single Truth, and you feel yourself abiding in the resonance of That - and understanding the true meaning of "Abide in Me, as I abide in my Father (the "I AM" of Exodus 3:14) for I and my Father are One." What happens, when this radial link occurs is that every cell, every atom of the body turns, as it were, to hear, its single Truth. Thoughts dissolve and there is a pure subtle, concentrating intuiting, as though you were in a dark room at night listening for the sound of a pin to drop. Every fiber of one's being tunes to this hearing of the soundless sound of the inner / pervasive pulsing of one's Self - "I as I." And this Truth becomes so overriding that it continues on its own as the substratum of all thoughts and sensations, like the screen upon which the film of a movie is seen, only, as the mind is drown deeper and deeper into the Singularity of the Heart (not the Anahata chakra), it is as though the light behind the film is becoming brighter and brighter and one realizes that one is the Light and not the scene, as in "I am the Light of the world" and these words of Christ are understood and realized to be the call of recognition of our own ever abiding Truth. To repeat Christ's constant refrain, and the refrain we hear similarly repeated over and over in the spiritual texts of the Saviors in all religions: "Those who have ears to hear, let them hear what the Spirit has to say ....." Pieter, First let me say that I really enjoy your postings and print them out and read them over and over. This particular posting is quite profound. I would love to read more of the article but cannot seem to get the link to work. Is there another way to access it? Sat Nam, Mary P
