Guest guest
Hello all, First, let me thank all the members responsible for hosting kundaliniyoga.com website. It has been of tremendous help to me. It has disclosed things/given answers which were present in me as unresolved questions. I am very grateful to you all especially to Dharam Singh and Gururattana Kaur. Secondly, I have been suffering from muscule pain for quite some years now(off and on). Doctors say everything is normal.I am software professional. I do spine flexible set and heart chakra excercises regularly. I feel very energytic and alive through out the day but there is a lot of tightness and pain in most of the muscles (leg and shoulders/hands). This has increased over the past three weeks but the pain is not seen constantly in any part of the body. Does anybody have any suggestions? I appreciate all your help. I have been practising KY from the past 2 months and I have overcome my anxiety and most of my fear. Thank you all. Guest guest
Sat Nam Akkama, My experience with persistant muscle pain is that diet is absolutely the key. If you are into dairy, fried foods, sugar or meat (or any diet overly rich in proteins) you are likely suffering too much acidity (low ph). Years ago I was struggling with lower back tightness. I was getting weekly acupuncture and doing my yoga and nothing was working. It was only when I did the "Arise and Shine" cleanse did that pain and several others disappear (do a search) Your blood ph reflects the level of toxicity in your body. Release that toxicity in the proper way and I am sure you feel great. By the way, food isn't the only thing that creates this ph situation. Type A behaviour can also do much to create a low ph. Relax. Do carrot/veggy juices everyday and lay off the acid producing foods. You can get litmus paper and test you urine first thing in the morning to determine, to some extent, your ph scene. Guest guest
??? Mine came with the Cleanse kit from Arise and Shine. The name and address of the company for the litmus paper is below. The test result is not the last word, I must add, but it helps. Guest guest
Sat Nam , Thank you for your response . I am vegetarian, I dont eat much of fried foods , sugar and dairy stuff too but I do eat rotis(wheat and tofu everyday. As you said , I shall take in more fluids/juices from now on. Could you also please elaborate on how behavioural pattern needs to be changed to cleanse the body. Are there any kriyas to help this cleansing? Thank you. Guest guest
Akkama, Okay, you're vegetarian...that helps but so was I and my lower back killed! Almost all grains are acid producing (the exceptions being quinoa, amaranth and millet). Tofu is a little iffy. Check out juicing and get into Kitcheree (mung beans and rice: attached). And I can't over emphasize the power of that Arise and Shine program. The results are dramatic. You'll be seeing GOD. Regarding behaviour. Anger is Yang. Type A behaviour is Yang. Yang foods and thoughts are acid producing. Yin foods and thoughts are alkaline producing. These are basic observations and there are subtle variations. Without knowing you better that's all I can offer. I can say that there are people who are perfect in their diet and they are still miserable or get cancer because of their stuckness. It's a good first step to take care of the body and when that is feeling right make sure to give thanks to the ONE.
