You actually need to understand this path (Dharma) a little before you can ask

questions about the faith. Empty ritual is criticized in the

scriptures. Take the opportunity to read some if given the opportunity.

Certainly Kundalini Yoga has brought many of us to the "door" of the Guru

but what each of us has done at the point varies tremendously. Some sit at the

door showing intent, some feel a need to go inside, others have a

need for community. Still others have a knowledge of the power of the Shabad

Guru and have reverence for it in all of creation.

I am always hesitant to say I am a Sikh because that is a label and labels stop

the flow. .....and you are right, this path is fascinating.

Thanks Dharam. I appreciate your input. I am basically looking at

Sikhism from a sociological standpoint, but can't help being drawn

into the scriptures for their beauty, lack of judgment, and honesty.
