Sat Nam to All.

I find this exercises and wondering if anyone knows about them, try them and if

there are different sets out there. I also would like to know if pumping navel

should be done in a speed motion . I can't do it fast. And also if it would help

eleminate fatty tissues on the belly.

THE PRE EYE EXERCISE ROUTINE

 

1. III. No 269. Gently massage the bone beneath your eyebrows. Gently massage

the bone sections under the eyes. Do this in a circular fashion.

 

2. With the palms of both hands, exert pressure onto your temples. Massage the

spot between the eyebrows with your fingertips. Do your pre Yoga neck exercise

routing. Massage your neck, where the skull meets the neck.

 

3. Keep your face straight and look up. By turning your pupils upwards. 1

minute. Increase to 3. Do the same and at the same rate, right, left, up, down,

forwards, backwards.

 

4. Bring your right hand forward and fix your sigh on your forefinger. Now, move

your finger rapidly right and left, up and down and so on, in all possible

directions. Start with 1 minute, increase to 3.

 

5. III. No 267 and 268. Circle your eyeballs. 1 minute. Fix our eyes in a manner

as if you were to see the back of your head. 2 minutes

 

EYE EXERCISES (Tratakam).

 

GAZING EXERCISE (Tratakam).

 

(1) Direct your gaxe with partly closed eyes to the spot between the eyebrows,

the position of the Ajna Chacra or pineal gland.

 

This stimulates the autonomic and the central nervous system. Also, the eye

nerves are strengthened.

 

(2) Gaze at the tip of the nose to raise Kundalini.

 

(3) At the Cardiac plexus, the Anahata Chacra, eleven finger widths above the

navel.

 

(4) At the navel, Manipura Chacra.

 

(5) At the Boddhicitta, flame of Buddha, between one and four fingerwidths below

the navel.

 

Do all these exercises gradually, and slowly increase gazing periods to up to 12

minutes.

 

(6) Gaze at plants. This will open uyp your intuition towards nature.

 

Gaze at animals. This will open your intuition of the unity of life.

 

Gaze at all lving things as part of the process of evolution. This will open

your intuition towards the immortality of the soul.

 

GAZING EXERCISE (Raja Yoga).

 

(7) III. No. 207 and 208. Gaze upwards and visualize a pale moon disc suspended

between six and thirteen inches above your head.

 

Visualize the sun, the horns of Hathor, the polar star.

 

Make these images rise from your tailbone and from the center of your brain.

 

Make images of flames raise from the Mula and the Manipura Chacras.

 

Visualize a beam of light rising from the root and piercing yor empty body.

 

Make this image of a beam of light penetrate the skull and then imagine it to

pierce the sky.

 

(8) III. No 267 and 268. Gaze up. Down, right, left, forward, backward.

 

Up is liberation, down is the root of life.

 

Right is the future, left is the past.

 

Backwards is birth and forwards is transformation.

 

(9) Gaze at a painting with many details for a second. Then, hide the picture

and attempt to describe all the details of the painting. This will awaken and

deepen your perception.
