Guest guest
I have a friend who is interested in yoga exercises, kriyas or other practices that may be helpful with adult attention deficit disorder. Although diagnosed as ADHD, my friend is of the inattentive type -- not hyperactive. Any suggestions? Steve Porter
Guest guest
Being focused; is a continious problem for an ADDer, that`s why he/she may benefit from KY a lot. Because KY encourages to be "grounded" through its exercises and meditations. This may help a lot to overcome the "brain fog" of an ADDer. Brain fog means that, the brain of a person who has ADD works in a `half awake state`, rather than a `full awake state` like other people`s brains, in order to heal the chemical disorder of the brain. Some symptoms of ADD are very much alike as the characteristics of being ungrounded. Like having a low self-esteem, being unable to keep promises both to himself and to other people, daydreaming etc. I believe that balancing the first 3 chakras energies would be a huge benefit for an ADDer. Relaxing is very essential for an ADD brain and may be achieved through KY. A good sleep after deep relaxation helps a lot to heal. Also, tell your friend that any enjoyable experience will work for him/her to get out of the trap. If he/she enjoys experiences like yoga and meditation, KY is a good way to go. One last thing; ADD is not a disease. It is a chemical disorder that can be corrected. So never loose hope.. I hope these will be helpful for your friend. My best for everbody, Sebnem --- "A.
