Guest guest
I am interested in KY, but I don't know of any places around here that teach it. Anyways, I know that on the KY website, they have an online KY course. I am a little hesitant to do that without a teacher, but if I have to then I will. Has anyone used the online teachings, and what kind of results would you get compared to having an actual teacher and class? Guest guest
Sat Nam Adam, Hey if there are no classes, take what you can get. I do a sadhana at home daily, and get alot out of it. Classes are always more powerful, and preferable to me, there's something about that group energy. Brad
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Adam, There is a group energy that comes through with this teaching and practice of KY. I'm in an area where there isn't a KY teacher or physical classroom to learn and practice KY, so I started where I simple am about 2 years ago.....with books, videos that I've ordered from here, the online training, email info, my teacher within, and it's changed my life. I'm now being asked to help others learn. You're not alone with all this help that's offered. Feel free to join in and enjoy all that you're about to discover. Best, Diane
Guest guest
What a great endorsement, Diane. Good story too! I believe if your are in the "right frame of mind" and are truly ready for it, you'll do the sadhana, or the yoga. I was lucky there has always been a class around somewhere, but I had a strong inner 'yearning' to manifest change, not just wish my life was different. That got me started on disciplining myself to do a sadhana, every morning and some evenings. Its working! Blessings brad
Guest guest
Welcome Adam! I also recently started practicing KY. And, like you, don't have a class nearby, but was very interested in starting. So I had ordered some books and videos, as well as downloaded many of the lessons from the on-line course. I've been praciticing for just under two months now. I REALLY enjoy it. I started practicing about twice a week, but enjoyed it so much, that I practice from 1-2.5 hours every day. And while I don't have a teacher/guru to assist me, this forum has been a wealth of knowledge. I don't post too often, but I visit/read every day. I would definately love to attend a class, but the lack of one nearby hasn't deterred me from doing my best with what's available. I highly recommend it.
