Guest guest
Dear All, Fear is a complex topic. I will put this on the list to write a KYTraining lesson. In the meantime here are a few comments. Dealing with the emotions is where the "training" part of KY comes in . We have to train our minds to deal with these energies and our bodies to incorporate them as powers. Fear and anger are embedded in the mass consciousness of the Planet. So we live and breathe these energies. The shift to the Aquarian Age involves extricating ourselves from the fear vibration and creating a vibration of love. This is a hefty job. Fortunately there are many who have this assignment (all of us for example.) It is also facilitated by the fact that the Earth's energy has shifted to the frequency of the heart center. It is so much easier now to tune into the energy of love than it was even a few years ago. I remember how dark the Earth's energy was in the late 70's and early 80'. I couldn't begin to experience what is possible today. To remove ourselves from the fear vibration there are many things that we can and must do. First, we have to train ourselves not to identify with situations that operate from the fear paradigm. There are numerous examples, most of which indulge in some form of victimization. If we feel like a victim in any circumstance, we are operating out of fear. Another example is poverty consciousness. If we think we cannot get what we need, we are not aligned with the abundant nature of the universe. We need to monitor our thoughts very closely and eliminate those that buy into fear trips. The reality is that our thoughts create our reality. We can and too often sabotage the best intentions with destructive thoughts. Gratitude for what we have and who we are is a powerful way to shift our thinking. We not only have to train ourselves to separate ourselves from others and fear situations, we have to train ourselves to distinguish past experiences and present realities. We carry fear imprints. To release them we have to identify them as past programming and substitute a current more positive reality. We need to train ourselves to deal with emotions as NONVERBAL energy. This not only releases us from the mental trips, it tunes us into powerful energies that can work for us. Fear is blocked prana. When we work with the energy of fear we can tap into a rich resevoir of energy. We work with energies in our body by (1) being with it, (2) confronting it, (3) loving it. Being is simply allowing it and feeling it as it is. Loving it is embracing it. Confronting recognizes that the negative expression is false. We claim the true power and work with it to make it our own. Facing our fears helps us not buy into them as the ultimate reality. The ultimate reality is God, the Divine or whatever you want to call IT. Fear is the absence of connection with the Divine. As we connect with the Divine, our fear diminishes and eventually disappears. We need to create internal boundaries where all we pay attention to is ourselves and our inner connection with the Divine. We have to energetically stay with ourselves and only ourselves. Anything about anyone else is NOT our business. The practice of any KY set and meditation helps us shift enough to be able to work with our energies in the ways I have indicated above. Use the spaces between exercises and at the end of the set or meditation to do this inner work. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Gururattan, How is it that you always touch on exactly what I need the most at the time. I am helping a friend deal with the court system without legal counsel. I find I get intimated by the courtroom and let my fear invade me. We had a tough time in court on Tuesday. I was letting fears and doubts devour me, when I found and read your email. I now have the strength to keep up the fight and make myself strong and ready for our next court date in two weeks. Thanks for sharing that. :+) > I am helping a friend deal with the court system without legal counsel. I find I get intimated by the courtroom and let my fear invade me. We had a tough time in court on Tuesday. I was letting fears and doubts devour me, > when I found and read your email. One of my yoga students was in extreme fear about going to court over a traffic ticket. She was sure she was going to jail. I told her to chant "God Bless me in the name of Guru Ram Das" during the court appearance. She chanted it for 2 hours waiting. When she got up the judge dismissed the case without even hearing her. Good to use "us" when more than one party involved. Keeps one out of fear to surrender to a higher power and the big guys and gals. > I now have the strength to keep up the fight and make myself strong and ready for our next court date in two weeks. Guest guest
Dear Karen, > How is it that you always touch on exactly what I need the most at the time. Because you attract what you need. Give yourself credit for your power of attraction and enjoy your magnetism. This could carry over in many areas of your life if you enjoy and give gratitude for this gift. It is your essence as a woman. Men have it too, but you have to activate your feminine (inner feeling connection) to take full advantage of it and let go of control, "do" mode and surrender at least once in a while to Divine will. Actually women have to do the same. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
